Overview of Module 1

The first module sets the tone and emphasis for the entire programme. It is, and will feel, very different to any previous ‘leadership training’ you have experienced (100% of managers agree with this!).

Module 1 is designed to build greater levels of emotional intelligence in managers by helping them to become more self-aware and better able to manage themselves and others.

The initial focus is on them as managers, as employees, and as human beings. They reflect on what helps and what hinders them, and establish what they are like at their best and at their worst at work.​

Module 1 - Insights:

Delegates get to build their own personality profile to help them understand how they like to learn, to communicate, to be motivated, as well as how stress and pressure may affect them.

We consider how communication, motivation, and personal organisation work in the real world, before sharing ideas on how to become more effective in each of these crucial areas.

Managers are encouraged to build on their strengths and to then use these to enhance any aspects of their work life which may be getting in the way of their happiness, and their success.

Importantly, nothing learnt is mere theory as all learning is designed to be practical in the real world, with managers expected to apply their learning in role back in the workplace.

  • Tips, tools, and techniques to help with time management, personal organisation, and planning.
