Overview of Module 4

Module 4 is all about being ready to succeed in the workplace of the future.  As such, it builds on the previous modules, with delegates getting to reflect on what they have already learnt and changed, before considering what else is needed in order for them to lead and manage in the future.

They explore unconscious bias and inclusion through a new lens, one that aims to unite rather than divide or marginalise.

Physical and mental well-being is perhaps the most transformational session, as delegates get to understand what is really happening to the brain and body as a result of pressures and changes in the modern workplace.

Module 4 - Insights:

Module 4 explores what the workplace of the future may look like, such that delegates feel better prepared and more resilient to cope with the challenges which face them.

We examine different generations, ethical considerations at work, and the role of regulation.

From a brain bias perspective, delegates get to reflect on why discrimination happens, including how humans are often hard-wired from a young age to think and react in a certain way.

Beliefs, values, and behaviours will be considered in the context of why we have them and how they can create deep muscle memory that is often hard to change.  We then tackle equality and diversity head-on and bring to the table conversations which people often avoid.

Open and honest dialogue will be encouraged so that managers leave feeling able to be inclusive in a way that unites, rather than divides, polarises, or cancels.

Delegates reflect on the importance of women and minority groups being represented in senior roles in business, whilst also ensuring that men and other groups do not feel marginalised or become disenfranchised.

In the final part of Module 4 we explore the very latest ideas, tools, and neuroscience relating to physical and mental well-being.  This includes unravelling myths and misunderstandings about mental health, stress management, diet, exercise, and sleep, as well as why these matter at work.
