Coaching at Work

This module explores what coaching really is and why it is proven to be the most effective way of leading.

Delegates reflect on key elements of coaching as well as how to set clear motivational expectations, how to give feedback, and how to ensure 1-2-1s and appraisals support their coaching.

Full-day workshop (plus pre-work and embedding activities)

Insights into the Coaching at Work full-day module:

Coaching comes in many forms, with managers at work often mistaking it for a number of other leadership approaches.  True coaching is as much a way of being and leading as it is about sitting down and having a long coaching session.

This module explores what coaching really is, whilst also highlighting why it is proven time and again to be the most effective way of managing over the longer-term.  Delegates also explore the steps that allow coaching to be as impactful as possible, including setting clear motivational expectations, giving (and welcoming) impactful feedback, and ensuring that 1-2-1s and appraisals complement any coaching that has taken place.

Delegates also explore options available to them when their coaching does not achieve the performance, behaviour, or mindset change that they were hoping for / need.
